Important information

To serve alcohol, you need a permit. In special cases, such as an event, you can get an exemption. The following Requirements apply:

  • You may not serve and sell alcohol to children under the age of 18.
  • You may not serve and sell liquor (>15% alcohol) at the event.
  • The person in charge of acohol:
    • is at least 21 years of age;
    • is of good behavior.

Good to know:

  • It must be a temporary waiver (maximum 12 consecutive days).
  • You may serve only weakly alcoholic beverages, such as beer or wine.
For better and quicker processing of your application, the municipality asks at least:
  • Date of event.
  • Location.
  • At what times you want to serve alcohol.
  • The company's contact information, if you are applying on behalf of a company.
Cost: see dues ordinance.

Notice:

  • This is a temporary waiver and different from the Alcohol License.
  • You must also apply for an event permit before organizing an event.
