Important information

You need a stand permit if you want to sell goods or food from a stall or cart, such as a fish or ice cream stand. This permit allows you to stand with your stall on or near the public road.

Cost: see Fees Ordinance.

Good to know:

  • A pitch permit is different from a marketplace permit or a vending permit. You need a market place permit if you want a place at a day market, weekly market or annual market. A peddling permit is required if you sell goods on the street or door-to-door. Vending means that you sell your goods in a different place each time.
  • If the municipality is not the owner of the land where you want the pitch, you must also have permission from the landowner.
For better and quicker processing of your application, the municipality asks at least:
  • If you are making the application on behalf of a company, please have the company's information handy.
  • What goods or services you sell.
  • In which place you want the pitch with situational drawing. You must attach this, please keep it ready digitally.
  • On which day or part of the day you want to use the stand and from which date you want the permit to take effect.
