WS-2050-1 Notification or Permit to Use Public Land with DigiD.

As a citizen, company or institution, you may be using public land. This may be for placing a Waste container, scaffolding, a shed truck, a toilet cubicle, or storing building materials such as sand, gravel, stones, and so on. You must apply for a permit or file a notification about this.

Notification or permit?

Permit

You apply for a permit if it is a major use. Major use occurs:

• for an area from 16m2
• at a width of 2.50m or more

Costs:

The cost of the permit can be found in the Fees Ordinance. You also pay precario tax, see precario tax regulation.

Notification

You suffice with making a notification if it is for small use

• for an area up to 15m2
• At a width of less than 2.50m

Costs:

You pay precario tax, see precario tax regulation.

Good to know:

• You apply for the permit 8 weeks in advance.
• A notification must be made 2 weeks in advance.
• If you are making the report on behalf of an organization or company, please keep the details handy.
• If you have a situation sketch, keep it ready digitally.
• We ask for the size and width of the object to be placed.
• We also ask for the exact location and time period of the object to be placed.
