Wassenaar work center launches in Voorschoten Library - Wassenaar
Residents of Wassenaar seeking advice on work, (re)training or personnel can now visit Work Center Location Wassenaar at the library in Wassenaar every Tuesday morning. On July 3, the work center festively opened its doors.
Alderman Laurens van Doeveren: "We want to help as many people as possible find a suitable job or (re)education. If you are looking for work, have questions about training in a particular profession, or simply have questions about switching to a different industry, it is nice to have someone who can point you in the right direction. Together with Library Voorschoten - Wassenaar, we ensure that residents can get advice close to home about work and the continuation of their career."
Free advice and support
The work center in the library offers free, no-obligation advice and support on work, (re)training, job applications and personnel. During the festive opening, visitors could participate in a workshop on LinkedIn. This explained how to improve a profile to get noticed by employers. In addition, participants were introduced to the guides of the work center: advisors who are ready to assist with questions in the field of work.
Every Tuesday between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Wassenaar residents can drop in without an appointment at the work center in the library at 40 Langstraat in Wassenaar.
