Adjusted opening hours environmental street Wassenaar

On Tuesday, October 1, the new opening hours for the Avalex environmental street Wassenaar will go into effect. As of that date, the environmental street at Hogeboomseweg 6 will be closed on Tuesdays. Saturday opening hours have recently been extended. Residents of Wassenaar and Voorschoten can bring in their bulky waste on Saturdays from 08:00 to 17:00. Do you want to reduce waste? 

Items that can still be used or reused do not have to be thrown away. Take them to a thrift store for a second life or take them to a repair shop for repairs. You can find useful addresses on the website of the municipality of Wassenaar(Kringloop | Wassenaar). You can usually return electrical appliances, loose batteries and accumulators to the store where you bought them. In this way you contribute to a sustainable society.  

Bulky waste collection

If you cannot manage to bring your bulky waste to an environmental street, you can of course, for a fee and under certain Requirements , also make an appointment with Avalex(What to do with bulky waste - Avalex) to have your bulky waste picked up.
