Management 

The Executive Board oversees the municipal administration and consists of three members. The Executive Board serves as a stable link between the municipal administration and the Mayor and Aldermen. They are also working to build a strong and engaged organization, always prioritizing Health needs of Wassenaar’s residents, community partners, and businesses.

  • Nathalie Valkenburg-Gunning: 1st deputy town clerk and manager of the Strategy & Communications unit
  • Jacko van der Windt: (2nd Deputy Municipal Secretary, Acting Director & Manager of HR, Finance & Procurement)

The civil service organization

The civil service organization has over 300 employees and 11 units, each with its own specialty and responsibility. Together they ensure the implementation of policy, service and support to the board. In everything they do, the organization's core values are central: environmentally aware, respectful, together and responsible. These values form the basis for the civil service organization that cooperates efficiently and responds flexibly to the challenges of today and tomorrow.
