Management 

The management team leads the civil service organization and consists of four members. The management team forms the stable link between the civil service organization and the College of Mayor & Aldermen. Furthermore, they build a powerful and committed organization. Always with Health and attention to the residents, social partners and entrepreneurs in Wassenaar. 

  • Alexander Oostermeijer: town clerk
  • Nathalie Valkenburg-Gunning: 1st deputy town clerk and manager of the Strategy & Communications unit
  • Stefan Brugman: 2nd deputy town clerk, deputy director and manager of the HR, Finance & Procurement unit
  • Erwin Hiep: group controller

The civil service organization

The civil service organization has over 300 employees and 11 units, each with its own specialty and responsibility. Together they ensure the implementation of policy, service and support to the board. In everything they do, the organization's core values are central: environmentally aware, respectful, together and responsible. These values form the basis for the civil service organization that cooperates efficiently and responds flexibly to the challenges of today and tomorrow.
