If you need support or help, you can get free advice about it. For example, with Wmo applications or finding work. A client-supporter will look at the situation with you. And helps you, for example, to prepare for an interview or take a decision.

Who can get advice?

Anyone living in Wassenaar can get advice from a client support person. Also people who already receive information, advice, support or help. And people who provide informal care.

For example, advice can be nice if you find it difficult to explain what you need. Or if you are not sure what solutions are available. Or how to arrange something.

What can you get advice on?

A client advocate can give you information and advice on:

  • help from the Wmo
  • Health
  • youth aid
  • education
  • feeling good (well-being)
  • live
  • work and money

The client advocate is independent. This means that it is really there for you. The municipality has no influence on what the client-supporter says.

What can a client advocate do?

For example, a client advocate can support you in these ways:

  • helping you figure out what you need and what you want
  • work with you to find the right words for what you need
  • help search for the right information
  • Explaining how an application goes
  • Preparing interviews and going along to interviews
  • helping with choices
  • help if you disagree with the Health or support you receive
  • thinking about solutions with people in your community

This is how to arrange for a client advocate
