Christmas tree collection will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. You will receive €0.50 for every Christmas tree you hand in.

Game Rules

• The following applies at all locations: you will receive €0.50 for each tree you bring in.
• The Christmas trees must be free of nails.
• Only private individuals can participate in the promotion.

More than 30 Christmas trees?

Have you collected at least 30 Christmas trees? Then the collection service will be happy to pick them up on Monday, January 5, or Tuesday, January 6, 2026. You will need to make a collection appointment at . 

Additional rules for pickup:

• Christmas trees must be placed on the street in the morning on the day of collection (not in the garden; the driver must be able to start collecting them immediately). The location must be easily accessible for the truck.
• Christmas trees must be free of obstacles so that the gripper arm can reach them easily.
• You can choose between two collection days: Monday, January 5, or Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
• The municipality will collect the trees on the relevant day between 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. (it is not possible to reserve a specific time).
• After loading the trees, you will receive a receipt from the driver. With this receipt, you can collect the reimbursement of €0.50 per tree on January 7 at the Municipal Office at Johan de Wittstraat 45 (between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.).

Please note! The receipt contains a unique number and serves as your proof of purchase. Our driver will submit a copy of the receipt so that the total amount is ready for you.
