Basically, you only get married once, right? Well, most of the time. And even when life takes unexpected turns, every wedding remains an opportunity to celebrate love.
But let's focus on that one special day: the most beautiful day of your life. The day that should go into the books as the moment when you confidently said "Yes!" to each other, facing a life together, as best friends, partners-in-crime and the creators of countless beautiful memories (and the occasional bit of chaos at home). Because on that day, you say "Yes!" to a whole lot more than just your partner.
It's "Yes!" to socks lying around that you hope are meant as a secret message of love.
"Yes!" to the artful way hairs collect in the shower drain.
Or the beard hairs in the sink that take on a life of their own.
And of course, also "Yes!" to rearranging the dishwasher according to your loved one's only proper-and obviously way too complicated-method. If those cups haven't already accumulated on top of the dishwasher instead of in it before then.
And, let's be honest, also "Yes!" to those piles of packages from the friendly delivery man you almost made your roommate. Because you may not have known you were missing it, but you definitely needed another new coffee mug in that one color that you already have in all the other variants in the cupboard.
"Yes!" to sudden DIY trips because your better half has suddenly decided that your bedroom absolutely (immediately) needs a complete retro makeover. Where you hope that all the walls will be allowed to stay and it will just be a lick of paint or new wallpaper.
But to actually say "YES!" to all the above perils, you do need a Babs, aka the matchmaker who adds that extra touch of Maggi...er, magic... Health I make sure you not only say "Yes!" to each other, but also to all the hilarious, chaotic, and loving moments to come. And should you not want to whisper the YES word but shout it from the rooftops? Well, I'll take care of that too!
