A step forward in the revitalization of the Wassenaarse Slag

Alderman van Doeveren: “Step by step, we are shaping a future-proof family beach where nature and recreation are in balance. I am very pleased that the first phase has been successfully completed and that visitors can enjoy the improvements. The revitalization will be completed in 2028, featuring, among other things, a green dune plaza as a gathering place and a free, secure bicycle parking facility.”

Phase two of the redevelopment will begin in November. Phase three, the final phase, will begin in November 2027.
