Imposing an administrative order to remove a vehicle—a single-axle trailer/folding trailer without a license plate—parked on the public road “Van Duivenvoordelaan” near the parking lot by the blue apartment building in Wassenaar.

The Mayor and Aldermen of the Municipality of Wassenaar hereby announce that a trailer/folding trailer has been parked on the public road on Van Duivenvoordelaan in Wassenaar for an extended period of time. This violates the provisions of Article 5:6(2) of the Wassenaar General Local Regulation 2024. Since the owner of this vehicle cannot be identified in the registry of the National Road Traffic Authority, pursuant to Article 36(5) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, the trailer is to be classified as “abandoned.”

In view of the aforementioned article, we call upon the owner or holder of the vehicle to remove his/her property from the public road in Wassenaar within seven days of the publication of this notice. If the vehicle has not been removed within the period we have set, we will proceed to the exercise of administrative coercion pursuant to section 125 of the Municipalities Act in conjunction with section 5:21 et seq. of the General Administrative Law Act. This means that the municipality will have the vehicle removed. Any costs arising from the application of administrative coercion may be recovered from the owner.
