Landscaping work De Kieviet

Work is being carried out this week in the De Kieviet neighborhood to further improve the green spaces. The work is based on the top five areas for improvement that the De Kieviet residents' association previously submitted to the municipality.

This top 5 was compiled by residents themselves and focuses on bottlenecks in public spaces and green areas.

One of the requests concerned the trees along Duinweg, such as pruning overhanging greenery above sidewalks in a more timely manner or thinning out the trees. This request is now being implemented. 

Municipal employees are currently working on the beech trees along Duinweg and Meijendelseweg. The work is expected to continue until Thursday. With this approach, the municipality, in collaboration with residents, is improving the living environment in Wassenaar.
