30 km/h in Wassenaar

From February 27, 2026, a speed limit change to 30 km/h will apply in almost all of Wassenaar. In addition to adjusting the signage, the road must be designed for a 30 km/h zone. The municipality will adjust the roads during regular maintenance in the coming years. The municipality does not enforce speed limits itself. Enforcement can only be carried out by the police after the road has been adjusted to the correct design. You can submit a request for speed control to the police after the road has been adjusted.
