Fire in the Wassenaar Dunes Under Control

Update August 6, 9:40 a.m. — Wassenaarse Slag Reopens

The Wassenaar Intersection is open to traffic again. 

Update August 5, 5:53 p.m. — The fire in the dunes is currently under control

The fire department will remain on site for the time being to monitor the area and immediately extinguish any fires that flare up again. For this reason, part of the dune area will remain closed for the time being. Guests at Hotel Duinoord can now return to the hotel.

The Wassenaar Intersection is open to traffic again.
