Cultural historical value map
The cultural heritage value map makes all historically valuable buildings and landscapes in Wassenaar accessible.
Significance for professionals
The Map shows the cultural-historical significance of the object in question. This information is not only fun for interested parties, but also very practical for various professionals. Notaries and real estate agents can now see exactly what the status and history of the property or plot is. This is also useful information for homeowners, for example when making alterations to their monument or landmark building.
Ready for the future
The municipality is required to maintain a heritage register. This digital value map will make the heritage register interactively accessible, which is in line with the objectives of the upcoming Omgevingswet.
If you have any questions or comments email them to erfgoed@wassenaar.nl.

It is easy to search by address using the box at the top left of the Map. By clicking with the cursor on the building and/or plot, an information bar appears at the bottom of the screen. On the Map , the entire complex is highlighted, making it clear which plots and parts are part of the monument. If this does not happen automatically, select the selection filter on the right side of the information bar.
Clicking on the complex or monument number opens a link to the reasoning description on the website of the Cultural Heritage Agency. For municipal monuments and image-defining objects, a PDF with the reasoning description opens on the tab plot in the column complex.
Under the protected townscape column, a link opens to relevant page on the municipal website.
