Want to save energy smartly and live sustainably? Find out more on October 24 at the Energy Fair!

The Wassenaar Energy Fair will take place on Saturday, October 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at De Warenar. The Wassenaar Village Events Foundation is organizing this fair in collaboration with the municipality of Wassenaar. At the fair, you can learn about energy conservation and sustainable solutions for your home. Topics such as home insulation, solar panels, heat pumps, home batteries, charging solutions, energy conservation, ventilation, windows, meter box modifications, and other energy-related developments may be covered.

Even small changes can make a difference

Simple measures that can immediately save energy are also highlighted. After all, becoming more sustainable doesn’t always have to start with a major investment. Sometimes, even relatively small changes can make a difference.

Experts and companies will provide explanations and answer questions. Special guest speaker Dennis van der Meij, also known as the “Energy Hipster,” will deliver the presentation “The Honest Energy Story.” In it, he’ll provide clear information about the opportunities and challenges of the energy transition. Whether you have concrete plans to renovate your home, are exploring a future investment, or are simply curious about the latest developments, the fair is designed to help you gain knowledge and ask questions.
