Increased risk of wildfires in our region
There is currently an elevated risk of wildfires (Phase 2) in the Haaglanden region. Due to the ongoing drought, the natural environment is particularly vulnerable, and fires can spread more quickly. We are therefore asking residents and visitors in our municipality to be extra vigilant, especially in nature and dune areas.
We ask everyone to exercise caution when handling fire and flammable materials.
- Do not smoke in nature reserves
- Do not light an open fire
- No barbecuing in nature
- Do not park vehicles on dry grass
- Please do not leave any trash behind, such as glass or cigarette butts
If you see smoke or fire in a nature reserve, call 112 immediately.
Together, we can protect our natural environment. Thank you for your vigilance!
