Delivery specifications for election posters
The following submission specifications apply to election posters.
- Format
For election posters, the standard A1 size is 594 x 841 mm. (width x height). This depends on the available board area and the number of pamphlets to be displayed.
- Recommended extensions : .jpeg / .tiff / .pdf / .psd
Images must be delivered with a resolution of 150 dpi (at print size) or higher, in proportion for files at scale. Files with too low resolution (Internet quality: 72 dpi) are of poor quality and not suitable for graphic processing.
- Submitting designs: recommended file formats: .pdf / .ai / .eps/ .tiff / .psd.
Ready-made designs can be submitted without bleed and crop marks. Health that the fonts used are converted to outlines, or send the font along with your design or embed it. Your design will be assessed for suitability for the application. Designs created in PowerPoint or Word cannot be put into production.
Please note! Do not place a party number on your poster. Bordbusters will place your party number on your poster after the Central Electoral Committee has met on February 6, 2026, to determine the final numbering.
- Submit via e-mail: verkiezingen@bordbusters.nl
By e-mail they can receive files up to 10 mb. Files that are larger can be sent via the wetransfer channel: bordbusters.wetransfer.com.
- File Name
Apply your municipal name as the file description with the party name after it, so for example "MunicipalName_PartyName.PDF".
Note! Renaming an extension does not change the data of a file. So renaming your .jpg to .eps is unfortunately not going to help you!
Important
- The election poster must be submitted by Friday, January 30, 2026, at 12:00 noon.
- Do not place a party number on your poster. Bordbusters will place your party's number on your poster after the Central Electoral Committee has met on February 6, 2026, to determine the final numbering.
