You must make your own arrangements for proper collection of commercial waste. This is because the municipality is not responsible for collecting business waste. This is because there are great differences between the type and quantity of waste from businesses.

How does it work?

  • You must comply with environmental requirements for the storage and disposal of commercial waste.
  • The requirements depend on the type of waste and the amount of waste you turn in.

What to do

  • You enter into a contract with a licensed collector or waste processor. You are free to do this as long as you meet the environmental requirements. Recognized companies that collect commercial waste can be found in the VIHB list of the NIWO Foundation. If you enter into a contract then you must specify the following:
  • the type of waste
  • the average amount of waste
  • How often the waste should be collected
