How does it work?
Is there only one bin for glass? Then you can dump all the glass in here.
Sometimes there are separate glass containers for white, brown and green glass. If so, deliver the glass separately. This actually saves more energy and raw materials. You may dispose of all glass in the bottle bank, except:
flat glass (such as windows and mirrors)
crystal glass
refractory glass such as oven dishes and tea glasses
incandescent, energy-saving bulbs and fluorescent tubes
porcelain
If you have any of the above items, please take them away to Avalex at Hogeboomseweg 6, open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Saturday from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
