Household Hazardous Waste (KCA) is not to be thrown in the garbage, but handed in at the municipality's collection point.
You can drop off your Household Hazardous Waste at several places. For example, batteries at supermarkets and hardware stores, hypodermic needles and medicines at pharmacies and electrical appliances at electronics stores. As a resident, you can bring KCA to Avalex's waste disposal station, see also www.avalex.nl.
Companies may dispose of chemical waste only if they have an environmental permit to do so.
On Milieucentraal.nl you can see what waste falls under KCA.
