Alfons van Benthem

On December 20, 1984, I performed my first wedding in The Hague and am now over 6,000 weddings later. Over the years I have developed a style that appeals to the couples: personal words, humor and also involving the people in the room in the ceremony. I try as much as possible to visit the couples at home to get acquainted and to discuss their wishes during the ceremony. I speak Dutch, Haags, English and German and do not see wedding ceremonies as work, but as a very pleasant leisure activity. I am in my "sixties", married, father of 1 son and 3 daughters and grandfather of 4 grandsons (the 4 Daltons). I mainly go for fun and not "too deep" with fancy sayings. Everything comes from my own "quiver" and through experience in dealing with people. So do you want a wedding with a smile and a slight tear? Alfons van Benthem knows what he is coming for.....
