The policy rules for charging posts for electric vehicles on public land state that cables over public/municipal land is not allowed. The Municipality of Wassenaar has a negative attitude towards cable trays and does not participate in the trials/pilots cable trays.

A cable tray is a tray that carries electrical wires and power lines from one place to another. In this case, from the home (often via solar panels) over municipal land to the electric car at a public charging station. Because of the gutter, the charging cable is contained and does not lead to a nuisance.
