In Wassenaar, two electric shared cars are ready for joint use. Members of the Cooperative Samen Slim Rijden Wassenaar recently got a second Nissan Leaf E+ to share. More and more people are discovering the advantages of electric driving and thereby reducingCO2 emissions. It works completely digitally. Share car (Greenwheels) Havenkade 1 Wassenaar
The municipality has provided a parking space for Greenwheels. Using a chip card, you can open the car so that you can go on the road immediately. This way you always have a car at your disposal, without the cost of your own car. Through the website of greenwheels you can reserve the shared car.
Sharing your own car
You can either rent your own car to people nearby or rent a car from a neighbor. This is called peer-to-peer car sharing. You can do this through SnappCar. They make sure the car is all-risk insured during a trip. At MyWheels you can simply rent private cars in the neighborhood.
Your own car sharing group
With a group of acquaintances, you can set up your own car-sharing group. The Association for Shared Car Use helps set up your own car-sharing group so that several people can use one car. By joining the association, you support car sharing and benefit from insurance and parking arrangements.
