KIES is a play and talk group for children going through their parents' divorce. Children learn to better understand the divorce and their own emotions. The group consists of 8 meetings.

In a relationship, we want to be happy and feel loved. Sometimes things happen in life that make it difficult to understand each other. The Hold Me Tight course helps you gain insight into your relationship and understand each other better.

Do you often hesitate to express your true feelings? Do you find places where other people gather to be intimidating? Are you concerned about being disliked or do you tend to feel guilty easily? In the assertiveness course, you will learn to stand up for yourself and deal with differences of opinion, conflicts, appreciation, and feedback. The assertiveness course will provide you with insight into your own behavior and help you develop more self-confidence. In the group, you will exchange experiences, receive exercises, homework assignments, and written information. You decide for yourself at what pace you work and which solutions you choose.

Do you know who you are, what you want, and what you are capable of? These are important questions that are not always easy to answer. The Rock and Water training program will help you increase your self-confidence and become stronger, both physically and mentally. The training program consists of eight sessions.

Strong in Stress is a training program that teaches children skills to deal with tension and pressure in a positive way, so that they can perform with more confidence and calmness and develop to their full potential.

Girls' work is a safe place where girls can come together and talk about real girl things. Creative activities are done and there is room for your own input and ideas. Youth workers are always present to guide the evening. 

• Date: every other week on Mondays. Girls' work is an ongoing offering.
• Time: 6:45 - 8:15 p.m.
• Location: Youth Center Upstairs - Dr. Mansveltkade 9
• Target audience: all girls aged 10 to 16 years old
• Cost: None

The youth center 'Boven' is the place for all young people from Wassenaar to have a good time together. You can go there for different games, gaming, music or just chilling. There is always a youth worker there to help you. 

• Date and times: Tuesday afternoon between 3:00 - 5:30 p.m.: 11 to 14 years old, Thursday evening between 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.: 14 to 18 years old, Friday evening between 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.: 14 to 18 years old

• Target group: All young people in Wassenaar from 11 to 18 years of age.
