Bicycle gone? You can pick up your removed bicycle at the municipal office in Wassenaar by appointment. 

Why was my bike removed?

The municipality removes bicycles that are in the way or parked too long or incorrectly. In addition, if your bike was in neglected condition, this is in violation of the General Municipal Ordinance.

Stolen bicycles

Enforcement and Supervision checks removed bicycles for theft. If the municipality takes stolen bicycles, we inform the police. In cooperation with the police, we inform the owner.

Picking up your bike

You can make a Make an appointment appointment to pick up your bike at the municipal office. To do so, make an appointment using the registration form. To pick up your bicycle, you will need the following items:

• A valid ID
• An appropriate key; or
• A valid proof of purchase

Cost

You can take your bike after paying the costs incurred. This is €25 per bike towed away.
Please note that fees can only be paid by PIN.
