Using sound truck
It is illegal to drive a sound truck through the streets to make calls or play music. If you still want to use a sound truck, you need a waiver from the municipality.
What to do
You request the waiver from the municipality. Please provide the following information with your application:
- Why you want to drive a sound truck.
- Date and time you want to use the sound truck.
- Sound truck route.
How long does it take?
You will be notified within eight weeks whether you will receive the exemption. The municipality may extend this period by eight weeks.
Objecting
If you disagree with the municipality's decision, you can object within 6 weeks.
