Enforcement Model Child Care Wassenaar
On March 27, 2012, the Wassenaar Board of Mayor and Aldermen adopted a new Assessment Model for Enforcement of Child Care Services Wassenaar.
The model contains the steps the municipality can take if a holder of a childcare facility does not meet one or more quality requirements of the "Childcare and Nursery School Quality Requirements Act," the Childcare and Nursery School Quality Decree and the Childcare and Nursery School Quality Regulations and related laws and regulations
Assessment Framework Early Childhood Education
On March 27, 2012, the Wassenaar Municipal Executive adopted the Assessment Framework for Early Childhood Education. The Assessment Framework for Early Childhood Education is new. The municipality is responsible for sufficient Early Childhood Education places, where children from 2 to 6 years old can catch up (language) delays.
Mandates
On March 27, 2012, the Wassenaar Municipal Executive granted the Director of the GGD ZHW a mandate to inspect childcare facilities and playgroups for compliance with the Childcare and Childcare Quality Requirements Act.
On March 27, 2012, the Wassenaar Municipal Executive granted a mandate to the official organization to make decisions in the context of supervision and enforcement of childcare.
National Register of Child Care Providers
The right to childcare allowance is reserved for parents who have their children cared for by a childcare facility listed in the Landelijk Register Kinderopvang (LRKP). The allowance relates to daycare centers, out-of-school care organizations, guest parent agencies and guest parents. Municipalities are responsible for maintaining this register. In GIR (Common Inspection Space) which is linked to the LRKP, in addition to the GGD inspection reports, the municipality of Wassenaar also stores the enforcement letters to the childcare facilities.
