Idea for neighborhood or district
If you have a good idea for your neighborhood or district, you can report it to the municipality. You can also contact your neighborhood manager. If necessary, do this together with other residents from your neighborhood or district.
The municipality then considers how they can help you implement your idea.
How does it work?
The municipality supports the idea, for example, by helping you apply for necessary permits. The implementation of the project lies entirely with the initiators.
Review of the ideas will take place regularly and you will be contacted in the process.
The neighborhood manager interacts with neighborhood residents, associations, partners and colleagues and encourages initiatives and checks whether ideas and plans in a neighborhood are feasible and achievable.
What do I need?
Criteria review district idea.
- The initiative improves neighborhood livability and increases residents' involvement in their environment.
- The initiative is for a group of residents (collective). Initiatives aimed at self-interest are not eligible.
- The application must fit within applicable laws and municipal policies.
- There is clarity about the feasibility of the initiative and the commitment of residents.
- The initiative must not lead to a structural contribution by the municipality: there must be one-time support.
- The premise is that the promoters will manage themselves and be liable for any damage repair. Future management aspects can be worked into the idea.
