Information about the 112NL app
The 112NL app is for everyone in the Netherlands who wants to reach the emergency room quickly and easily in an emergency.
If you call 112NL using the app:
- Can you indicate directly with a button which emergency service you need or that you are unable to speak.
- Automatically sends data to the control room that you have already entered in advance.
- Will transmit your location if you have given permission in the app.
- Can the emergency room chat with you if you cannot hear or speak well.
- The chat function translates the conversation into your preferred language.
- Download the app and fill in the requested information. Do so before you find yourself in an emergency situation. That way, the app will be ready for use when every second counts.
