Can I get a charging station for my electric car?

An application for a charging station can be made through the website www.laadpaalnodig.nl. The site lists all public charging points in Wassenaar (and surrounding municipalities).

Applications for a charging station in public spaces are subject to the following principles and Requirements:

• You live in the municipality or work at least 18 hours per week in the municipality (demonstrable);
• a charging station in public space is always public and therefore not person- or address-related;
• You own an Electric Vehicle. You must prove this through a (preliminary) purchase or lease agreement;
• You do not have a parking space on your own property. Own grounds also include (VVE) parking spaces and/or the (mandatory) possibility of renting/buying a parking space, in combination with an apartment. Or parking spaces on the premises of the employer, if applying for a work location;
• you must provide a (preferred) time slot and an estimate of the loading frequency per week;
• a charging station is installed when there is a sufficient take-up guarantee in an area (per charging station more than 2000 kW/year);
• the charging station is within a maximum radius of 250 m from your home or workplace (provided a charging station is not already in place or under application/treatment and provided there is sufficient take-up guarantee);
