Report violation of integrity

Residents, organizations and businesses must be able to rely on a government of integrity. Do you suspect that an employee or member of the city council is not acting with integrity? If so, you can report it.

How does it work?

Your report

In your report, you shall state the following

  • What violation of integrity is involved
  • Who and/or what department is involved
  • Concrete clues that allow us to investigate your report

Forms of non-integrity

  • Fraud
  • Corruption
  • Leaks of classified information
  • Misuse of powers
  • Unauthorized conflict of interest
  • Waste or misuse of municipal property
  • Violence and intimidation

Other notifications

  • Do you have a complaint about the way you were treated by an official or members of the college? You can file a complaint
  • Do you disagree with a decision made by the municipality? You can then object or appeal that decision

Submit in writing

You can also submit your report in writing. Address a letter about a college member or council member to the mayor. In your letter, include at least the following information:

  • Your name and address
  • Your report (who or what is it about and when did the incident occur)
  • Your signature
