Disasters can happen anywhere in the Netherlands, including in your area. The power may be out for a longer period of time, there may be no water from the tap, there may be extreme weather, or you may have to leave your home temporarily because of explosion danger, a major fire or other special circumstances. It is good to be prepared for this.
