Social housing, declaration of urgency

You can apply for a priority declaration on social, medical, financial or informal care grounds.
An acute emergency varies from person to person. In general, it means you must be in serious, urgent trouble.

Requirements and requirements for an urgency declaration can be found in the Wassenaar Housing Ordinance.

How does it work?

Strict Requirements apply in an urgency declaration. Therefore, the declaration of urgency or priority declaration is only for:

  • Applicant(s) has Dutch nationality or valid residence permit.
  • people who are residents of Wassenaar and are also registered in the BRP for at least two consecutive years at a residential address in Wassenaar.
  • who are in an emergency situation through no fault of their own (family enlargement or ending a relationship does not count as an emergency.
