Single-earner allowance
Do you have less income than you would expect? You may qualify for the single-earner allowance.
A small number of households in the Netherlands receive fewer allowances than other households. They have less net money left over than they should. These households are sometimes entitled to the single-earner allowance.
Who is the scheme for?
- You or your partner has benefits because you are unemployed or disabled. The other partner has little or no income.
- You have less money to live on than if you only had Social assistance benefit . For example, because you get less health care benefit or housing benefit.
- There are several requirements that determine whether you are entitled to the allowance. The application form contains questions that test your eligibility.
