Invitation opening corn mill Windlust

The sails of windmill Windlust are in the joy position: the restoration of the corn mill is complete! The Wassenaar City Council cordially invites you to come and take a look at the mill on Saturday, November 12. After Windlust has been officially opened and put into operation in the morning, a festive mill afternoon will follow.

Program November 12, 2022

From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Windlust will be open to the public. The millers will give guided tours of the mill in small groups. There is no need to register in advance. If you have to wait a while for a spot, it is pleasant to linger on the mill grounds.

A band will play, children can make mill drawings and we will serve coffee, tea and lemonade. As long as supplies last, we will hand out delicious mill rolls from baker Kaptijn.

From 2 p.m. the doors of Galerie in de Molen (Art Group Wassenaar) will also be wide open to interested parties. We hope for a beautiful day, with lots of interest and a perfect wind.
