Until when can we play sports in the old sports hall?

  • Athletes at De Schulpwei can contact the board of their own association.

Who can I contact if I have questions about my sport?

  • For Kieviten: contact department board or check website www.kieviten.nl.
  • For athletes in De Schulpwei: inquire with the board of your own club.

Is there storage space for sports equipment in the new accommodation?

  • The design of the sports hall was prepared in close consultation with the athletes in De Schulpwei and De Kieviten. This took into account the desire for storage space.

Will rental rates for the new hall go up?

  • The operator sets the rental rates. These will not go up now.

Will De Kieviten's dues go up?

  • For questions regarding De Kieviten dues, please visit the De Kieviten website at .

Can the clubhouse be rented for private purposes?

  • The clubhouse of the Kieviten in principle for members to rent, however under Requirements. Please contact Kieviten office under: info@kieviten.nl.

Building

Will the work cause a lot of noise and inconvenience?

  • Demolition and new construction will always cause inconvenience. We will keep that to a minimum. When work begins, we will provide an email address and phone number of the demolisher/contractor where any nuisance can be reported.

What will happen to The Schulpwei?

  • The plan is to demolish De Schulpwei when the new municipal hall on the De Kieviten site is completed.

Is this sports hall also the replacement for De Schulpwei?

  • Yes. This hall replaces De Schulpwei as well as the Kievitenhal.

What is the status of the new building?

Will the new accommodation have solar panels and other energy-saving features?

  • The new accommodation will be completely energy-neutral.

Is the new accommodation off gas?

  • The new accommodation is off gas.

Will the new sports hall be larger than the current accommodation?

  • The new sports hall will be more compact than the current accommodation. A better layout does create more interior space.

Is the new hall accessible to the disabled?

  • Yes. That has been taken into account and there is an elevator.
