Placing an object on or at the road
- You may not just use the road, sidewalk or any part of it. For example, to place scaffolding, containers, building materials or an advertising sign.
- If you still want to do so, then apply for a waiver from the municipality.
What to do
Through Omgevingsloket you can find out if you need an environmental permit.
You then apply to the municipality for the exemption. In your application, provide the following information:
- Why you want to place the object on or at the roadway
- the place where the object will be located
- the size of the object
- when and for how long you want to place the object
If you want to place an object for the storage of movable property you may need an environmental permit. For example, if you are placing a container for the temporary storage of rubble or building materials during a renovation.
