What are the rules for parking at an electric charging station?
Reserved charging spots may only be used by electric cars, provided they are actually connected to the charging pole. Reserved charging spots are identified by the striped parking box and arrow. As long as the second space is not reserved for electric charging, any car may park in this spot. After all, it is a "regular" parking space.
No policy has been established on how long a car may remain in a charging spot. Therefore, the municipality cannot enforce this. The user is expected to move the car when it is charged.
If the electric charging station is within the blue zone and the reserved parking spaces are along a blue line, the rules of the blue zone are in full force and the parking disc or parking waiver must be used.
