Work in Oostdorp ( St. Willibrordesstraat)

On Tuesday, November 4, work will begin on pipes and cables in Oostdorp. As a result, St. Willibrordesstraat will be completely closed from Tuesday, November 4 (7 a.m.) to Friday, November 28 (4 p.m.) 2025. The detour will be signposted locally.

Work on Duynsteelaan and Pastoor Buyslaan.

On Monday, November 10, 2025, firm Sloos will start work on Duynsteelaan in Wassenaar. The sidewalk will be broken up in phases and replaced with new tiles. The houses will be kept accessible by means of walking partitions. The passage to the Pastoor Buyslaan will be closed on Thursday, November 13. It will be accessible to traffic again by the end of the day. The work is expected to last through Friday, Nov. 21, 2025.

Sewer work at various locations in Wassenaar

Starting Monday, Oct. 20, firm Tolhuis will begin inspecting and cleaning sewers in certain parts of Wassenaar. This work is necessary to determine the condition of the sewers and to determine and implement any replacement(s) and repair measures. 

The work is taking place in two parts of Wassenaar:

  1. Between Prinsenweg, van Cranenburchlaan, Starrenburglaan and Zanderijlaan.
  2. District of Rijksdorp

Work will take place between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. During the work, streets may be closed at times. We ask for your understanding. The work will take approximately five weeks. 

Work on sewer and streets Hofcampweg and Burmanlaan.

Hofcamp Road and Burman Avenue are being repaved. The streets are aging and need sewer maintenance, among other things. The work will last from September 2025 through February 2026. Learn more on the project page

Work on Hoflaan and Herenweg

Work on Hof Avenue and Herenweg will begin on Monday, Aug. 25, 2025. The work is expected to be completed by the end of February 2026. The work will be carried out in phases to minimize inconvenience. Work will start at Herenweg 1 and will be carried out towards the junction with Hoflaan. Hubertus Tunnel work

Between July 27, 2025 and the end of April 2026, the Hubertus Tunnel will be completely closed to all traffic for up to 9 months. You can read all the information about the work, the schedule and the detour routes on the website of the municipality of The Hague
