Global Goals

Alderman Van Doeveren wants to position Wassenaar as an attractive and future-proof municipality, where there is room for innovative and sustainable businesses. He also wants attention for sports, recreation and relaxation, matching the needs of our residents. Also on the beach and in the dunes. In the coming period Alderman Van Doeveren will pay extra attention to objective 8, Decent work and economic growth. Objective 8 is among other things about ensuring an attractive entrepreneurial and business climate, supporting SMEs and sustainable tourism and recreation. The implementation of the Center Plan relates directly to this, as well as providing suitable and dignified work as part of the reintegration policy.
