The municipality of Wassenaar has two locations with caravan sites: Lagerweide and Ruigelaan. These sites are mainly privately owned. Due to the demand for sites, the Woonvisie 2021-2025 'Grip op Wonen' includes the realization of additional sites in Wassenaar. The municipality is also preparing allocation rules, taking into account the descent principle. The allocation rules are expected to be ready in the first quarter of 2026. After that, the waiting list will be opened. We will post a notice when the waiting list is open for registrations.
