A municipal monument is different from a national monument. National monuments are designated by the Rijksoverheid .
You are asking the municipality to designate your property as a monument. When doing so, please provide the following information:
If you do not want your property to be designated as a municipal monument, file an objection with the municipality. For example, if you live in the same property as the person who made the application to the municipality. Submit your objection within 6 weeks of the announcement of the designation.
