If you want to start a sex business, first consult with the municipality whether this is possible and whether you need a license. Also, when your sex business is taken over or stops, report this to the municipality.

How does it work?

If you want to start a sex business, adhere to the following:

The owner and any manager(s) are 21 years of age or older.
The prostitutes working there are 21 years of age or older.
The sex business fits into the municipality's zoning plan.
The sex business meets the requirements in terms of furnishing, fire safety and business operations (including hygiene).
The operator and any manager(s) must not be in receivership.
The operator and any manager(s) must not have been deprived of parental authority or custody.
The operator and any manager(s) are of impeccable conduct.

In any case, an application is also assessed under the BIBOB Act.

What do I need?

A copy of the ID of the owner and any manager(s).
A statement of payment behavior fulfillment of tax obligations from the Tax Office.
A lease or purchase agreement of the location of the sex business.
Possibly a situation sketch and a site plan.
A business plan.
