Sale of shredded greenery, land
The municipality issues chippered green. Trimmed green space is small strips of public green space without a major function, immediately adjacent to a plot of land. Owners of houses can use this to buy strips of municipal land, subject to municipal approval. See "How does it work?" for approval considerations.
The procedure takes 8 weeks. These are completely necessary for research and decision making.
How does it work?
The site should be checked for the following points, among others:
- Any plans or developments;
- Possible traffic impacts related to traffic safety and accessibility;
- Presence of Street Furniture. If present, the City of Wassenaar will determine if and how it can be relocated;
- Presence of facilities fire department;
- Presence of sewers, cables and pipes, other utilities and civil engineering structures;
- Possible presence of soil contamination or archaeological values.
As a result of the above points, it may be decided not to sell the site.
How long does it take?
The procedure takes 8 weeks.
Cost
- For land that is not buildable, the cost is €200.00 per m2
- For land that is buildable the cost is €300.00 per m2
- The minimum land price per transaction is €600.00.
- The request is free of charge and without obligation until a purchase agreement is concluded. After that, a €520.00 administration fee will be charged.
