What does the Social Team do?
The Wassenaar Social Team helps you find your way if you need advice, information, support, help or Health .
For example, at:
- money problems
- live independently
- informal care
- parenting
- work
- keep fit
- Thinking along if you have concerns or problems
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about this. For example, if you can't work it out yourself and the people around you can't help you either. Together we will find out what is possible.

Cooperation with the municipality of Leidschendam-Voorburg
For some topics, the municipality of Wassenaar cooperates with the municipality of Leidschendam-Voorburg. Such as:
- help finding work
- Social assistance benefit
- surcharges

What does help from the Social Team cost?
The Social Team will find out what is possible for you free of charge. Help from a client-support person is also free of charge.
If you receive support, help or Health through the municipality, you sometimes have to pay a contribution. For example, for help from the Wmo, such as help in the home or an adjustment to your home.
